Search & Rescue

Life Detectors / Locators

Designed and built to locate buried victims, the Search & Rescue range includes 3 complementary devices intended for search and rescue specialists.

Audio ResQ is designed to detect the presence of victims and pinpoint them with great accuracy even in rubble. By means of its seismic sensors, it is capable of detecting the least vibration given off by a conscious victim: scratching, voices, even under severe utilization conditions typical of natural catastrophes.

Visio Search, developed to visualise and communicate with victims, is used for evaluating the necessary assistance and emergency care. With an intuitive man/machine interface, a large colour monitor and a lightweight telescopic boom, Visio Search offers unrivalled comfort of use.

The LEADER SEARCH Radar Life Locator is designed to detect breathing and movement sub-surface and locate victims trapped as a result of catastrophes with the Ultra Wide Band Ground Penetrating Radar technology (UWB GPR).

• See also the LEADER Sentry which monitors movement of unsafe structures to alert SAR teams for evacuation.

The use of this range of equipment has been greatly simplified, offering modern, efficient and reliable support during search and rescue operations.

Testimonials secouristes sans frontieres 100x100

There is no doubt that this new equipment is amazingly easy to use in the field, and in rubble, including on blocks up to 6 m thick, bricks, stone and reinforced concrete, wWhenever one or two victims are only able to respond to calls from the surface by light scratching.

Audio ResQ and Visio Search Life Locators are user-friendly for the operator with a particularly simple man-machine interface offering optimum ergonomics.
It is particularly fast and easy to browse through the menus: selection of sensors, use of filters and selection of the right sensors located vertically above the victims. Sounds that are picked up are of outstanding quality. Data legibility is excellent, in broad daylight or at night.
There is a second headset for refined analyses and guiding an operator undergoing training.
